Phoenix Challenge International High School Skills Competition 2026

The 2½-day competition includes five areas of rigorous testing: (1) operating a Flexo press, (2) prepress, (3) plate making, (4) written knowledge, and (5) Flexo math skills. They will participant in the Flexo experience lab, where they learn about color matching, ink ph and vicosity, and print electronics. The student go on a tour of a local print facility.

The first-place team receives medals, a plaque for their school, a $1,000 scholarship per member, and the coveted "Harper Cup" to display at their school for a year. The second-place team also earns medals, a plaque, and $500 scholarships each. The third-place team receives medals, a plaque, and $250 scholarships each. Every participant is recognized with a certificate and over $100 in industry-sponsored gifts.
