2005 PHOENIX CHALLENGE FLEXO COMPETITION

We said the competition was tough this year - and the race to take 2nd Place really heated up.

Our congratulations to both 2nd Place winners, Asheville High School, Asheville, North Carolina
and Careerline Technical Center, Holland, Michigan, (in their first ever Phoenix Challenge
Competition) for their “never, never, never give up” attitude. Both teams have said that 2006 is
going to be their year. They have 12 months to get ready. Winning student teams and instructors
competing in 2005 were:

Asheville High School

Careerline Technical Center
Students : Alecia Thomasco and Brad Sheffield
Instructor: Joe Boersma

Competitors beware. Teachers Mike Davis and Joe Boersma are both bursting with pride in their
students and are already planning on going above and beyond in 2006!
